Bio

Art and science. These two disciplines have captivated my interest since grade school, and years later I was split between the two when choosing a major in college. I ultimately went with art and studied design, painting, drawing and hybrid art forms.

My degree allowed me to find work creating product illustrations, using Photoshop and Illustrator, for a high-tech company in Austin during the nascent years of the internet, and shortly thereafter I began designing and developing for the web and acquiring the skills and experience necessary for creating effective, user-centered designs and design systems.

I speak the vernacular of both UX and development, enabling me to communicate effectively across these teams and evaluate the big picture to identify gaps in the process as the project moves through planning, design, and development cycles. I have created and implemented enterprise-level UX vision and processes from design to development by communicating effectively with directors, management, stakeholders and customers. Creating a clean and intuitive user experience with the latest technologies and UX best practices is a passion of mine that I believe will be an asset to your organization.
